Unstable Leaves & Interactive grass materials made in Unreal Engine 4 for Live Adventure, my 5th year graduation project made with a team of 11 people, including 4 other awesome artists :

For this material I used a 2048*2048 Render Target in order to get the hero and cameraman positions. I've put a yellow plane in the Hero's blueprint and a particle system in each of the cameraman and hero blueprints. An Actor Blueprint is following the hero in the level in order to capture and update the Render Target and store the character position in a parameter collection.
The parameter collection and the render target are finally used to update the World Position Offset of the unstable leaves and grass materials.
